Staff and volunteers at the Lower Lake Schoolhouse Museum’s Living History Day
August 11th from 11-4, 2012

The Lower Lake Historic Schoolhouse Museum provides a variety of services to the public. 

Schoolhouse Museum Services:

  • Guided tours - Arrangements can be made for school and group tours. A 3rd Grade Teachers' Guide is available for teachers planning a visit.
  • Research - Lake County historical documents, books, and research papers are available, including the complete Lake County History by Henry Mauldin.
  • Lake County Historic Photographs - Historic photographs of the Lower Lake area are available.
  • Weaver Auditorium rental - The Weaver Auditorium on the second floor of the museum is available for meetings and events. An hourly fee is charged and certain restrictions apply. Advance reservations are required.

Lake County Writers meet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. or 4 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Lower Lake Historic Schoolhouse Museum. The group welcomes interested writers of all levels and genres.
